Kun.uz announced an inquiry that the Tashkent oil-oil combine in Yashnabad district was terminated without payment of workers’ wages. The representatives of the joint-stock company reacted to this material.
They say that the combine does not owe the shareholders, and we have filed a complaint with the higher courts regarding the compensation payments claimed by the workers.
In Yashnabad district, an inquiry was announced that the production plant known as “Tashkent Oil Plant” was closed without payment of workers’ wages, but was restored by a court decision, and the rights holders were not being paid.
In the program, the former workers of the combine spoke about the fact that they were not paid their wages and dividends from their shares as shareholders of the company.
I. Irnazarov, the liquidator of the Tashkent oil-oil combine, and Vahobjon Kenjayev, the chief accountant, shared other details of the situation.
He says that at the time of liquidation of Tashkent oil-oil combine joint-stock company (May 2025) it had no debts and this was confirmed by the competent authorities participating in the process of voluntary liquidation of the enterprise.
The debt determined by the court belongs to the period of the enterprise’s activity in 2023-2024, and the compensation calculated on the basis of Article 330 of the Labor Code and the obligation for these payments arose after the company was liquidated and removed from the state register. V.Kenjayev says that all procedures were followed in the phase of liquidation of shares as a shareholder, and there are no debts.
“An appeal has been filed in the higher courts to annul the court decisions imposing the obligation to pay compensation to the workers, because these amounts baseless,” says AJ’s representative.
According to the decision of the Tashkent inter-district economic court dated March 26, 2026 presented to Kun.uz, D. Aldanazarova and others (shareholders of the Tashkent oil-oil combine) filed a lawsuit with the economic court, the defendant was the decision of the general meeting of shareholders of Tashkent oil-oil combine JSC dated June 17, 2023 and the supervisory board’s decision of June 19, 2023 asked to declare the decision (on liquidation of the society) invalid.
