One sacked coach, two different farewell messages. This is more or less how the Partizan club parted ways with coach Oltijon Kirnaja and ended this stage of his career just three weeks before the end of the season.
Initially, the message of the reds seemed like a not at all friendly farewell of the coach with heavy accusations of compromising the season. “FK Partizani formalizes the closure of the cooperation with the coach Oltijon Kirnaja. The departure comes after the disappointing results that the team has recorded recently, which has significantly compromised the club’s objectives. During the remainder of this season, the team will be led by the current technical staff, part of which is the sports director Agim Ibraimi”, was the message published by the club. All dry, with no thanks to the coach who revived Partizan after the disaster at the start of the season.
The blunder was rectified a few minutes later, with the Reds modifying the message of the manager’s sacking, at least toning it down somewhat with a thank you interspersed between the lines. “Partizani wants to thank Oltijon Kirnaja for the contribution made during this period in the management of the team, while wishing him many successes in the future”, was the sentence that was added between the lines, somehow correcting the gaffe of the previous minutes of the club.
