According to Jam Jam Online, the Supreme Board of the Central Bank approved the increase of the general and individual ceiling of housing deposit assistance facilities for tenants from bank sources subject to Article (4) of the Housing Production Jump Law, as well as the low-cost facilities of the special plan for the improvement and renovation of housing in villages, cities with a population of less than 25,000 and to help provide housing for the deprived.
Considering the importance of organizing the rental market and the need to support tenants, the issue of increasing the general and individual ceiling of the housing deposit assistance facility was raised and decided by the Supreme Board of the Central Bank:
In order to support tenants and implement Article (9) of the Land, Housing and Rent Market Regulation Law, the total ceiling for housing deposit assistance from bank sources subject to Article (4) of the Housing Production Jump Law was increased to the amount of 3,000 thousand billion Rials (300 Hamats).
The individual ceiling of the aforementioned facilities was also increased to three billion and 650 million Rials (365 million Tomans) in the city of Tehran, to two billion and 800 million Rials (280 million Tomans) in the provincial centers, to one billion and 85 million Rials (185 million Tomans) in other cities, and to 750 million Rials (75 million Tomans) in the villages.
It should be said; In line with the implementation of Clause (c) of Article 51 of the Law of the Seventh Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and considering the importance of improving and renovating housing in villages, the Supreme Bank of the Central Bank agreed to increase the individual ceiling of low-cost facilities for the special plan for improving and renovating housing in villages, cities with a population of less than 25,000 and helping to provide housing for the deprived for 220,000 residential units, in the amount of five billion Rials.
