Denis Cerema Deiso, of Haitian nationality, who was wanted for the death of Mrs. Claris Villavicencio and the wounding of her daughter, last Sunday in the Villa María sector, in Higüey, La Altagracia province, surrenders to the National Police.
The foreigner denies the facts of which he is accused, while three other people are detained for the incident that occurred last Sunday.
The fatal victim was identified as Clari Villavicencio, 54, who was attacked with a knife, along with her son Hansell Villavicencio, 35.
Hansell Villavicencio is stable in a local hospital, where he underwent surgery after presenting penetrating chest trauma from a knife and, according to medical information.
The circumstances in which the event occurred remain under investigation by the corresponding authorities.
