We are transmitting Đeljaj’s announcement in its entirety:
The statement signed by Mirza Pepić seems like a bad attempt to replace political reality with one’s own wishes, but the citizens of our municipality still live in the real world, not in an imagined world.
It is interesting how those who held all the strings for decades now talk about “endangered values”. If that was their peak, then these million-dollar projects of today are truly a miracle, because it seems that roads are built by themselves, water networks spring up overnight, squares are arranged without anyone’s work, and stadiums and children’s playgrounds are created from political announcements.
The truth, however, is not so complicated, envy is a serious political category. They are envious that our municipality is developing faster than ever. Investments are at every step, from water infrastructure, new and reconstructed roads, landscaped squares, to stadiums and playgrounds for the youngest. All citizens see that. Everyone except, apparently, Mr. Pepić.
While some draw political enemies where there are none, we build roads where they never existed. While some produce division, we produce results.
You don’t like national or state colors, which raises the question of your relationship to symbols that should represent the common identity of all citizens.
In such a situation, it is completely unclear what policy you actually advocate.
And speaking of credibility, I have proven myself in every job and function I have held. Behind me are concrete works, visible on every meter of this municipality. And behind you, Mr. Pepić, apart from the signature in the statement, what exactly remains?
The citizens of Tuzi Municipality know the difference between noise and results. And that’s why, despite all attempts at spin, the Municipality of Tuzi is moving forward, with projects, investments and a clear vision of development, while others remain trapped in their own announcements.
