Seizures of assets ordered by SPAK as part of investigations into the scandal of the National Agency of Information Society, have evidenced some new business connections or shareholder reports.
One of them is verified in “Equos Resort”, in which several villas were seized a few days ago that are considered to be part of the assets of Ergys Agasi, the head of the so-called criminal group of ANKSI. Shkëlqim Hoxha, former DP candidate in the elections held in the Municipality of Rrogozhina in 2023, also appears as a shareholder in this venture, a fact that was exclusively reported in Shqip.com.
Hoxha’s relationship with Agas is not proven, since the latter is not officially listed as a shareholder and the assets assumed to be his have been found to be so by the investigations. However, it is a little strange that the participation in the shares is done on the total ignorance of the partners or actual owners. On paper, Hoxha has 45% of the shares, while his partner, Klodian Shehi, has 55%.
And Shkëlqim Hoxha himself denies knowing Ergys Agas, even though he admits that he is aware of the actions of SPAK, in the resort where he has 45% of the shares.
“This news has nothing to do with me. There is nothing true. I am a shareholder of Equos. But he is not a partner with me. If there is a document that he has shares there, take them out. He is not a partner, I don’t even recognize his face if I see him on the street. I have nothing to do with him. If he comes to buy it, give the money and do it, but nothing like that happened. There is a mess, but I am not aware of it. for no procedure. My partner has testified and dealt with the case. I have no knowledge”, he said.
During the action a few days ago, SPAK also seized a quantity of expensive wines from Equos Resort, which it claims are the product of crime and of course connected to Ergys Agas.
However, Shkëlqim Hoxha is aware that he is not actually the literal owner of “Equos Resort”, but as
a prestanome of Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is reported.
Sources for Shqip.com inform that Shkëlzen Berisha and Ergys Agasi, one of the most trusted people of
Edi Ramës, are shareholders together in several businesses.
