Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) — An official delegation of the Russian Federation led by Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin arrived here on April 25 at the invitation of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly and the Ministry of National Defence to attend an inaugural ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations.
The national flags of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation were fluttering at the flagstaffs of Pyongyang International Airport and the guard of honor of the Korean People’s Army lined up at the apron of the Terminal.
Jo Yong Won, chairman of the Standing Committee of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly, warmly greeted Vyacheslav Volodin.
The delegation was greeted by Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Vladimir Topeha, charge d’affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy here, and staff members of the embassy. -0-
