The Tunisian Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment has announced the signing of an agreement with Libya on April 29, focusing on labour mobility, employment, and the export of Tunisian skills and expertise.
According to Tunisian Minister of Vocational Training and Employment Riadh Chaoued, the agreement also includes the establishment of vocational training centers in Libya. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the National Center for Continuing Training and the National Center for Trainer Training and Training Engineering, aiming to strengthen Tunisia’s regional role in vocational education.
The initiative comes as part of Tunisia’s broader strategy to diversify international partnerships. Alongside existing agreements with Italy, France, and Libya, the country is also working on new arrangements with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Austria, with the goal of expanding job opportunities for Tunisian youth in international labor markets.
