Less than 36 hours were needed to become the absolute sold out of the Athens Marathon, the Authentic. The 25,000 available places in the Marathon of… Marathons have been closed in their entirety as announced by SEGAS. It took just six hours to fill the available seats in the enhanced race package.
In the relevant announcement of SEGAS it is stated:
“The Athens Marathon is entering a new era, which has already been embraced by thousands of runners from all over the world. The historicity of the race and the high facilities provided have turned the race into one of the best in the world.
At this time, interested runners can secure their participation in the big celebration in November (7 & 8) by choosing between the last available places in the following categories:
- Complete package at 5 km. COSMOTE TELEKOM
- 5km UNIVERSITIES NIGHT RUN allwyn’.
