America declared independence and kicked out the king of England – the mad George III – in 1776. To mark this 250th anniversary, the current king will make an official state visit to the US, starting on Monday.
Is there something of a role reversal going on? Charles III is quite evidently sane. Not everyone holds a similar opinion about the US president.
