In Germany – a terrible tragedy: a car with five teenagers entered the river, some of them died

The 17-year-old girl is in critical condition – both young people were pulled out of the water by divers. The other three passengers managed to escape and were taken to the hospital by emergency services.

The car overturned on the eastern embankment of the German financial center late Friday and plunged about 8 meters into the water. A witness who observed the incident called the emergency services.

“According to available information, the vehicle was traveling towards the harbor for unknown reasons, broke through the security barrier, fell into the North Basin of the East Harbor and sank to the bottom,” the police said in a statement.

All five passengers were between 17 and 18 years old.

The car has already been pulled out of the water, and the police are waiting for the experts’ findings.
