US cult actor David Hasselhoff was seen using a walker during a rare appearance with his wife Hayley Roberts (45) in Los Angeles. The 73-year-old is recovering from knee and hip surgery and is undergoing physical therapy.
Photos show the couple in the West Hills neighborhood on Wednesday. Hasselhoff walked across a parking lot with both hands on the walker. He was wearing a gray T-shirt, black sweatpants, a beige cap, glasses and black shoes. A blue and white sweatshirt hung over his shoulders. His 45-year-old wife was dressed sportily, with a white top, blue yoga pants, a pink cap and white sneakers.
The spokesperson explained to “Page Six»Hasselhoff is recovering from the procedures and making progress. “He is in physical therapy, making progress and feels good,” it said.
In 2025 he was dependent on a wheelchair
The actor had already sparked concerns about his health in May 2025. At that time he was at the Los Angeles airport pushed in a wheelchair. He was on his way to Cancun, Mexico. He told photographers at the time that he would have knee surgery the following week. He also admitted that he was in a lot of pain.
Hasselhoff was best known for series such as “Baywatch” and “Knight Rider”. In his private life, he has been in a relationship with Hayley Roberts since 2011. The two married in July 2018. There is a 27-year age difference between them.

This is Hasselhoff’s third marriage. Previously he was with actress Catherine Hickland and Pamela Bach married. Bach died by suicide in March 2025 at the age of 62. Hasselhoff has two daughters with her.
