The candidate of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) for prime minister and former president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, accepted the defeat of his list in the early parliamentary elections.
Vucic said that the Student List has won the elections in Serbia, thus accepting defeat.
“We do not have the final results. Many people will be surprised and you will understand how much some have lied and what they have invented. I want to inform you that, based on the stratified sample, it is clear that we have lost these elections. The victory was secured by the student blockade list, which will have between 135 and 140 mandates, while we have about 105. No other subject has entered the parliament”, said Vučič.
“In the end, yes, the Hungarians of Vojvodina have won 3 mandates, while the Albanians have won one mandate, and I’m talking about the SDA. Don’t take my word for it. According to the sample, we have about 1,720,000 votes, but this number is not important at all at this moment. They have about 2,200,000 votes,” declared Vučič.
