Central Asia (CA) Ukraine has not imposed a moratorium on attacks on Russian oil refineries. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to attack them despite US peace initiatives. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports RBC.
“I would like to remind you of yesterday’s statement by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. He said that in fact there was no moratorium on the part of Ukraine. Attacks on our refineries and energy sector facilities continued these days. Therefore, there is no innovation here. The Kiev regime continues to strike these targets, thereby, of course, coming into serious conflict with the peace efforts of the United States and American negotiators,” he said.
On October 14, Novak reported attacks on oil refineries in the Ryazan and Saratov regions. “We see that the Ukrainian side does not demonstrate movement towards an energy truce,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
On October 11, Donald Trump announced that Russia and Ukraine had agreed on a truce in the energy sector. Zelensky soon reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had “received all relevant orders” in this regard.
October 15 Zelensky stated about the resumption of attacks on Russian refineries.
