After the publication of her intimate videos on social networks and the great uproar that was made throughout public opinion and social networks, the singer Eli Fara has reacted.
In her attitude, she says that she does not feel ashamed and that’s how those who shared and published those images should feel.
“I am experiencing a pain that I do not wish on any woman: the violation of privacy and facing judgments and insults that also affect my family,” she writes.
The artist raises concerns about the way women face society’s judgments, stressing that they are often asked to shoulder the shame of the actions that are carried out against them.
“They violate their privacy and then ask them to account. They hurt them and then judge them for the way they cope with the pain. No woman should go through this humiliation,” she says.
In the following, she says that she will leave this issue to justice and appeals to the public for “humanity” and to stop the distribution of materials that can deepen the pain of a person and his family.
“Before any judgement, think about the person and the family you are hurting,” she writes.
At the end of the reaction, the artist thanks her family, friends, colleagues and all those who have supported her publicly or privately, stressing that their love and understanding give her the strength to move forward “with dignity and with her head held high”.
