– My musical style is very guitar oriented. I use a lot of fingering when I play guitar, and I feel like the guitar has to sing along with me somehow. My songwriting depends on the day and on what emotions I have, she says in an introductory video on Pan-Arctic Vision’s Facebook page.
Her music revolves around love and the challenges of youth – about loving, losing and experiencing life through good and bad. In the summer of 2026, she released her debut single “Shy Lover” together with performance artist Laakkuluk Williamson from Nunavut. The song is about two young women who fall in love, about longing and about the courage to show who you are.
The competition is broadcast live to the whole world, and in Sisimiut the city child can be followed live from the cultural center Taseralik.
Pan-ArcticVision aims to bring together musicians from the Arctic regions, and this year’s participants come from ten different countries and regions. Each participant performs with one soloist or music group.
