A call center through which foreign citizens were deceived with the aim of stealing large sums of money, has been discovered in Tirana, on Kavaja street.
From the police operation, 4 people were arrested red-handed, Emirjon Xhafa, Genci Ndoni, Ekzon Dervishi and Eroll Hyslihaka, while a 23-year-old woman is being processed at large. So, the owner of this call center, 45-year-old Taulant Beleraj, is wanted.
It was Economic Crime that discovered the basis of the call center inside which the blocks with the names of defrauded customers were found. Not only with the fictitious scholarships, but the arrested persons again took the defrauded clients on the phone, presenting themselves as lawyers. At this point, they cheated them again, taking from 5 thousand to 10 thousand euros.

“From the investigations, it turned out that the environment was owned by Taulant Beleraj, who, in cooperation with the above-mentioned citizens, managed it with the aim of developing this illegal activity.
At the end of the first investigative actions, citizens Emirjon Xhafa, Genci Ndoni, Ekzon Dervishi and Eroll Hyslihaka and EH, 31 years old, were arrested. Taulant Beleraj, 45 years old, was also declared wanted, while the citizen EA, 23 years old, was processed in a free state”.
As material evidence, 13 computer units, 19 mobile devices, 7 laptops and other materials suspected to be related to this activity were seized.
