TAAK and Royal Greenland have entered into a three-year agreement to support TAAK’s ambitions for the national teams and elite handball and the organisation’s work with the breadth of Greenlandic handball.
Royal Greenland and TAAK have entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement that makes Royal Greenland the main sponsor of the Greenland national handball teams together with Air Greenland.

The agreement must both help to support TAAK’s ambitions for the national teams and elite handball and the organisation’s work with the breadth of Greenlandic handball.
For Royal Greenland, it has been important to find a partnership where a sponsorship both gives visibility to the committed talents on the national teams and at the same time supports a sport that involves children, young people and adults in local communities all over Greenland.
– We would of course like to support our national team and the role models that elite sports help to create. But it also means a lot to us that TAAK has an eye for all of handball and the communities that the sport creates for children and young people around Greenland. It fits well with our desire to give back to the communities we are part of, says Bodil Marie Damgaard, EVP for HR and Communications at Royal Greenland.
Three-year agreement
In recent years, TAAK has worked more strategically with its sponsorships and partnerships and with creating a connection between the development of elite handball and a strong breadth. This has been an important part of Royal Greenland’s choice of TAAK as a long-term business partner.
– The agreement with Royal Greenland gives us a strong foundation for developing Greenlandic handball both on and off the pitch. Royal Greenland will be an important partner for our national team, but the collaboration is also about creating a better framework for talent development, youth handball and the communities that handball helps to create around Greenland.

The sponsorship agreement runs for three years. As part of the agreement, Royal Greenland will be visible on the front of the national teams’ player shirts and will be the main sponsor together with Air Greenland
