In the meeting, the second forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (Executives) of tourist trips, which was held last year by the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Cypriot government in the cities of Mersin and Girna; The results are analyzed.
It has been decided that this forum will be held by the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city of Tabriz and Ars Free Zone until the end of 2026.
The meeting also drafted a plan for the establishment of the Economic Cooperation Organization Federation of Travel Agencies (ECO-TAF), which aims to strengthen and institutionalize private sector cooperation in the field of tourism; has also been investigated.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized on the continuation of cooperation between the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization and the tourism operators, on providing trips for the tourism operators, facilitating the participation of interested parties in the tourism cooperation programs and exhibitions of the Economic Cooperation Organization, and on establishing practical measures and specific follow-up activities.
