Ivan Silva de Sousa has been permanently appointed sergeant major of the police force ofAndorra after successfully completing the probationary period, as published by Official Gazette of the Principality of Andorra (BOPA).
The appointment, made public by the Minister of justice i interioreffective from September 1, 2026. The decision comes after the favorable report issued by the director of the police department last September 10.
Nine more officers in the police force
The BOPA has also made public the final appointment of nine police officers of the basic scale and rank of officer, after all of them satisfactorily passed the probationary period on September 2.
The new agents are Eric Iglesias Lima, Daniel De Sousa Esteves, Victor Butron Lopez, Erika Sofia Rolo Moreira, Oriol Alcalà Batlle, David Curia Choren, Biel Ruiz Ambatlle, Alex Ojaos Gaztelu i Marc Martin Botey.
All nine remain attached to the police department after completing the corresponding probationary period.
