The Assembly of Albania has approved with 106 votes in favor of Albania’s engagement in the peacekeeping mission within the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.
The decision paves the way for the participation of Albanian troops in this international mission, within the efforts to stabilize and establish peace in Gaza.
After the vote in the Assembly, the Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, described the decision as a step that transforms Albania’s commitment to peace into a concrete contribution on the ground.

As a staunch ally, Albania stands side by side with the US in efforts for peace with responsibility, solidarity and contribution to international security”, said Nufi.
With this decision, Albania will participate in the International Stabilization Force in Gaza, contributing troops within the peacekeeping mission.
