eContent creator Víctor Vela, known as UVE and resident in Andorrahas initiated legal action against his former representative, Josep Alfons Andrés Saboridoto whom he claims 1.8 million euros. The YouTuber, who has 6.2 million followers, has filed a demand for an amount and a criminal complaint for alleged irregularities linked to the management of his income and contracts, as published by the Confidential.
The procedure initiated in Andorra includesaccording to Vela’s defense, alleged embezzlements and covert loans related to the MediaCube platform, irregular contracts with Spotterthe appropriation of 150,000 euros intended for a project of casino in Andorra that was never created and the management of a contract that the creator considers invalid. Vela had Andrés Saborido as his representative between May 2021 and May 2022 and maintains that he subsequently continued to operate on his and UVE Studio SLU’s behalf without having the authority to do so.
One of the spin-offs concerns MediaCube, a Cyprus-based company dedicated to managing the monetization of YouTube content. The YouTuber’s defense claims that his ex-representative formalized seven advance operations without his authorization and reports a withdrawal of 160,000 euros and loans worth 825,000 euros.
The conflict also reaches the United States a through Spottera platform dedicated to acquiring video exploitation rights. Vela had agreed to receive $500,000 to turn over rights to old content and, according to his defense, his ex-representative would have been out of commission with $200,000 plus $15,000.
