His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik paid on Thursday an inspection tour of a number of wilayats in al Wusta and South al Sharqiyah Governorates, as part of His Majesty’s continued follow-up on development and modernisation programmes across the Sultanate of Oman.
The tour reflects His Majesty’s keenness to advance development in the wilayats, make use of their natural and tourism potential, and ensure the provision of developmental and social services that meet the needs of citizens and residents.
The tour also highlights the importance attached to supporting balanced development across the governorates and enhancing the contribution of their resources and potential to the national development process.
