The Ministry of Rural Reconstruction and Development has stated in a press release that Helmand’s Department of Rural Reconstruction and Development has spent more than 23 million Afghanis in the villages of Loi Puleh, Ab Dar, Bay Bank and Deh Baba in Kajki District of this province. The construction of four water supply networks has been completed and put into use.
It is said that these networks include the digging of four wells with a depth of 200, 230, 200 and 100 meters, the construction of four reservoirs of clean water with a capacity of 10, 20 and 40 cubic meters, the extension of a pipe with a length of (15324) 15 thousand 324 meters, the connection of 85 solar panels and 422 solar panels.
It should not be forgotten that during the implementation of this project, dozens of people were provided with employment opportunities and upon completion, 871 families got access to drinking water.
