The 13th Cross-border Solidarity Crossing 1km1life has gathered this Sunday 260 participants in a day that has connected the Seu d’Urgell and Sant Julià de Lòria through sport and solidarity. The test had two races, 21 and 9 kilometers, and an inclusive walk.
The 21 kilometer race gathered 84 participants, while the 9 kilometer one gathered 123. The inclusive walk had 53 participants. The different routes have started at Headquarters of Urgell and have finished at Sant Julià de Lòria Brotherhood Square, where the award ceremony took place.
In the 21 kilometer test, the men’s podium was formed Jordi Gallego, Matias Rivero and Alex Muñoswhile in the female category the first three classifieds have been Queralt Riba, Sonia Atanes and Maria Martín. In the 9 kilometers, Iker Valero, Eliel Mendoza and Roc Martin they have occupied the first three positions in the men’s category. In women’s, the podium was for Míriam Martínez, Núria Moreno and Cristina Mayoral.
The collection of the crossing goes to the Vicente Ferrer Foundation and, in this edition, it will be dedicated to a mental health project and support for caregivers Nepal. The day ended with the awarding of prizes to the Brotherhood squarewhere the participants have put an end to a new edition of the test.
