the common ofAndorra la Vella will organize the conference next Saturday, October 3 rhythms i Solidarity Movements 2026a proposal open to all citizens that will combine physical activity, dance and solidarity with the aim of raising funds for the Solidarity Shop of the Andorran Red Cross.
The day will be held in the square of townamong the 11 and 14 hoursand will include three activities led by professionals and specialized entities. At 11 a.m. a session will begin barrein charge ofEl Rato Barre House; at 12 o’clock it will be the turn of Latin rhythmsdirected by May Ortegaof Serradells Sports Centre; and at 1 p.m. there will be a tai chi session led by Kung-Fu Tai-Chi Club.
Consul Minor ofAndorra la Vella, Olalla Losadaemphasized that the initiative aims to bring together “sport, participation and solidarity in the same proposal” and remarked that the activity is designed so that citizens can enjoy a different morning, practice exercise and, at the same time, contribute to a social cause.
Registrations open this September 17 and they have a price of five euros. In addition, participants who wish to do so will be able to make a voluntary donation to increase their contribution to the initiative.
The general manager of the Andorran Red CrossJordi Ribes, emphasized that activities of this type help to make visible that “solidarity is also built through small gestures” and recalled that the Solidarity Shop responds to the specific needs of individuals and families.
The reception of the participants and the delivery of the welcome bag will take place from 10.30 am in the Plaça del Poble itself. To participate, it is not necessary to have previous experience in any of the programmed disciplines.
If the activity has to be canceled due to weather conditions, the Municipality will return the registration fee.
