The figure represents an increase of 0.1 points compared to the first quarter and 0.3 points compared to a year ago. In the case of men, the rate is 83.8%while between the women reach 80.9%. The evolution of the population aged 15 to 24 stands out, with an employment rate of 32.1%, 8.9 points higher than the one recorded a year earlier, according to data published by the statistics department.
The unemployment rate has stood at 0.9% of the active population during the second quarter of 2026, with one estimate of 535 unemployed people between 15 and 74 years old. The rate has decreased by 0.6 points compared to the previous quarter and remains stable compared to the same period in 2025.

This increases by 0.4 points compared to the previous quarter, but decreases by 0.3 points in an annual comparison. among men, the inactivity rate is 14.9%while among women it stands at 18.9%.
Andorran unemployment continues to be below that of the surrounding economies included in the report. The 0.9% registered in the Principality contrasts with 9.9% of Spain, 7.9% of France and 5.9% of the European Union as a whole. Compared to the previous quarter, the rate decreased by 0.9 points in Spain, 0.6 points in Andorra, 0.4 points in France and 0.3 points in the EU-27.
