SAN MARINO – The journey of “Agata’s Pact”, a short film directed by the San Marino director, continues Alessio Petrillo and produced by Arkadia Studiosfilmed in the most evocative places of the Titan, with the support of the Secretariats of State for Tourism, for the Territory and for Education and Culture of the Republic of San Marino.
The presence of the Republic of San Marino as a filming location fits fully into the strategic path promoted by the Secretariat of State for Tourism, aimed at consolidating the development of film tourism and enhancing the territory as a qualified and attractive context for cinematographic and audiovisual productions.
After winning the Award for Best Short Film in the Emilia-Romagna Filmmakers category at the Nòt Film Fest in Santarcangelo di Romagna, the film will arrive at the Fi-Pi-Li Horror Festival in Livorno in October, where it was selected in the official competition.
The Tuscan Festival, dedicated to horror and genre cinema, has hosted important personalities of Italian cinema over the years, including Dario Argento, Pupi Avati And Paolo Strippoliestablishing itself as one of the events dedicated to the genre on the national scene.
“Agatha’s pact” will compete in the Federico Frusciante Award, named after the well-known film critic who recently passed away.
Filmed in the woods and the most evocative places of the Republic of San Marino, the short film intertwines horror, mystery and local folklore, telling the story of Emily and Agata, two girls traveling to San Marino. When Agata begins to feel worse and worse, Emily discovers step by step that she has been led into a trap.
