According to information from the Press Office of the Economic Assistance of the Prime Minister’s Office to Bakhtar Agency; Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund mentioned that economic independence is the foundation of political and cultural independence and said: “We can reach economic self-sufficiency when we expand and strengthen industrial and production activities at the domestic level of every sector.”
The Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister added that in order to strengthen the economic growth of the country, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has started the process of building industrial parks in different regions of the country, so that the raw materials can be processed domestically and the manufactured products can be exported to other countries.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund has said about the elimination of unemployment and poverty in the country: “It is time to gather back the hands extended to the world in terms of extensive imports and humanitarian aid. We should take advantage of our best geographical location and extensive economic potential in such a way as to bring unemployment and poverty to the lowest level at home.”
The economic deputy called the joint efforts of the Islamic Emirate and the Afghan people important to achieve this goal and said that the Islamic Emirate is taking important steps in providing long-term work opportunities in the country, such as the construction of industrial parks.
Mulla Baradar Akhund has assured all the citizens that the Islamic Emirate is gradually and systematically trying to solve the existing economic problems in the country.
He added: “In the economic sector, we will create a framework that will produce our own work, we will continue to implement the necessary financial and monetary policies in terms of price stability and people’s purchasing power, and we will present Afghanistan as an important trade partner in the region.”
The economic deputy of the Prime Minister’s Department also called on regional and international economic organizations to end Afghanistan’s inactive presence in these organizations and to quickly establish an official active presence.
According to him, with this, Afghanistan will be able to share its economic priorities, opportunities and important discussions and plans regarding economic interaction with the region and the world, which will be an important step in regional and international economic partnership, technical cooperation, capacity building and obtaining legitimate economic rights.
It is worth mentioning that the industrial park of Baghlan Province is being built on 1679 acres of land, as a result of which industrialists will be able to work and thousands of citizens will be provided with work.
