EL TIEMPO reveals for the first time that The JEP called Rodrigo Londoño, ‘Timochenko’, to testifyand the other six members of the last FARC Secretariat for their alleged participation in acts of gender violence against 34 women forcibly recruited to swell the ranks of the extinct guerrilla. Unlike Case 07, which investigates the recruitment and use of boys and girls, This call is made in subcase 03 of Case 11, which It focuses on people who suffered this violence when they were over 18 years old. In addition, it includes acts of sexual, reproductive and prejudice violence, linked to gender and sexual diversity motivations.
In the case of the former Secretariat It seeks to determine their possible responsibility for the direction and control over the troops. An attempt is also made to establish whether some people without formal command They exercised de facto power and, if so, how they used it in the face of the violence suffered by other members of the ranks.
In any case, the voluntary version is an diligence within the investigation that allows the Chamber to collect information to clarify the facts and gives the appearing party the opportunity to speak out. Victims will be able to present their truthful demands to those appearing, who must respond and provide detailed information about the facts investigated.
