H.E. Nor’ Azam Mohd Idrus, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Fiji (“TYT”) continues to actively support the expansion of commercial linkages between Malaysian companies and Fijian businesses. On 8 July 2026, TYT, with the support of MATRADE Melbourne, participated in a business matching engagement involving MySolar and Vinod Patel & Co. Ltd., a complete home and building solution provider and one of the largest hardware and building materials companies operating in Fiji and the South Pacific. The discussion explored opportunities for the introduction of Malaysian-made products to the Fijian market. Participants exchanged views on product specifications, market requirements, technical considerations and potential commercial arrangements, while identifying areas for further evaluation and cooperation. The engagement reflects TYT’s commitment to promoting and supporting economic growth. It also demonstrates TYT’s ongoing efforts to connect Malaysian businesses with partners in Fiji and the wider Pacific region, creating opportunities for mutually beneficial trade and investment collaboration.
