DOMLEC marked the International Day of Older Persons, October 1, 2026, by celebrating three of Dominica’s centenarians: Christine White, Matthew St. Rose and James Riley — through its “Credit for Life” programme.
The initiative provides a $600 credit to the electricity account of verified centenarians on their 100th birthday and every birthday thereafter.
The special feature highlights the three centenarians’ remarkable journeys, their contributions to Dominica, and the legacy they continue to leave behind.
‘To our centenarians: thank you for lives well-lived, the wisdom you share, and the legacy you continue to build,” stated DOMLEC.
