The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, chaired a working meeting on Thursday, September 10, at the Qutb al-Qulaya headquarters, with the directors and officials of the five higher schools specialized in economics, finance, and management.
According to what the Minister published on his Facebook page, the economy constitutes one of the basic drivers for implementing the goals of the National Development Program, and that these institutions are required to be at the heart of this path by creating competencies capable of understanding economic transformations, decision-making, supporting investment and institutions, raising the competitiveness of the national economy, and creating wealth and jobs.
The Minister gave his directives to modernize training, integrate artificial intelligence, digitization and data analysis, strengthen partnerships with economic institutions and the financial sector, develop entrepreneurship and emerging institutions, and direct scientific research towards applied economic solutions, making higher schools in economics factories of competencies and expertise, laboratories for manufacturing economic solutions and a locomotive to contribute to achieving the goals of the development program and embodying Algeria’s new vision based on knowledge, innovation and value creation, according to the same source.
