Today the excavations begin at the suspected cemetery in Kalludër of Zubin Potok

The Special Prosecutor’s Office is expected to start excavations today in the mountainous area of the village of Kalludër in Zubin Potok, where human remains were found two days ago.
This, after the arrest of two Serbs suspected of war crimes.
According to the suspicions so far, in the area where the excavations will take place, it is suspected that a mass grave can be found with the bodies of many Albanian civilians killed during the war.
The biggest case is the disappearance without a trace of a group of 23 men, known as the “Group of Intellectuals”, most of them from Mitrovica. They were stopped on April 19 by Serbian forces in the area while they were leaving for Montenegro, and no trace of them was ever found.
