SVG represented at international Paralympic Forum

THE NATIONAL Paralympic Committee of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), has accepted an invitation from the Russian Paralympic Committee on the occasion of its International Conference for classification issues in para sport.

Hence, Shirnan Jacobs, a founding member of the National Paralympic Committee is representing SVG at the September 3 to 6, 2026 event.

While in Moscow, Jacobs will be accorded a guided tour by Russia Paralympic Committee.

In addition, he will be visiting the Education Center for Adaptive Sports, where he is specifically assigned to gather as much information to assist his country’s organisation.

Jacobs, who recently attended the FIBA America Cup Caribbean Pre- Qualifiers in Guyana as a physiotherapist for the St Vincent and the Grenadines team, will also attend the final matches of the International Wheelchair Basketball Tournament.
