Sailing titles claimed at National Youth Championships

Nigel Tash, Jordi Lewis and KAI Marks – Dasent emerged tops when the St Vincent and the Grenadines Sailing Association (SVGSA), staged its KGroup National Youth Championships 2026, on Saturday August 29, at Calliaqua Bay.

The regatta which featured three competitive classes- Optimist, ILCA 4, and ILCA 6, saw Tash taking the Optimist Class while Lewis champed the ILCA 4 Class.

Marks- Dasent outdid his competitors to win the ILCA 6 Class.

Commenting on the championships, President of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Swimming Association Jenny Trumble, said: “The National Championships were a thrilling display of skill and determination. With the support of the World Sailing Judge Seminar, our sailors and officials are now better prepared for the challenges of international competition”.
