The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Kajol Maraj of Sangre Grande.
Maraj was last seen on Sunday and was reported missing at the Sangre Grande Police Station on Monday.
Police said she is of East Indian descent, approximately five feet four inches tall, with a slim build, light brown complexion and long black hair.
At the time she was last seen, Maraj was wearing a black sweater and cream-coloured long pants.
The TTPS is urging anyone who may have seen Maraj or has information about her whereabouts to contact the Sangre Grande Police Station at 668-2444.
Information can also be provided by calling the police hotlines 800-TIPS, 555, 999 or 911, or by contacting any police station.
Police are appealing to members of the public with information to come forward as efforts continue to locate the teenager.
