According to ECU911, The traffic accident was reported at km 44 of the road to the coast, in the El Cristal sector.
“From ECU911, they coordinated the attention with the Commission of Ecuador, the National Police, the fire departments of Guayaquil and Playas and Concegua,” he indicated.
Traffic Commission personnel were deployed to the site to address the situation.
Captain Damián Miranda, of the Guayaquil Fire Department, confirmed that three people died on site. “We have to regret the loss of three lives. Two people were traveling in the tanker and one corresponds to the bus driver,” he indicated.
Regarding attention, he explained that 28 people They were assisted at the scene and 13 transferred to different health homes in Guayaquil. “The ambulance protocol was activated and the transfer was carried out according to the medical assessment on site,” the officer explained.(YO)
