The Electoral Office of Dominica is set to begin distributing the country’s new Voter Identification Cards on Monday, August 10, 2026, starting with approved electors in the Roseau North Constituency.
The distribution is being organized by constituency to match the structure of the Confirmed Voter List, which is prepared and published on a constituency-by-constituency basis.
For the first phase in Roseau North, cards will be issued to approved electors in three polling districts: N04 – Upper Goodwill, N05 – Bellevue Rawle, and N06 – Fond Cole.
Electors in these areas can collect their cards at two designated confirmation centres: the Fond Cole Emergency Shelter in Fond Cole and the Red Cross Building in Goodwill.
The centres will be open for collection Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The Electoral Office is reminding electors to bring a valid form of identification when collecting their cards. Anyone picking up a Voter ID Card on behalf of another person must present a letter of authorization along with a 25-cent stamp.
The constituency-based rollout is part of the Electoral Office’s ongoing implementation of the voter confirmation process and the introduction of the new Voter Identification Cards.
Electors seeking additional information can contact the Electoral Office of Dominica through its Confirmation Hotlines at 767-275-8164 or 617-9595.
The Office is expected to provide information on the distribution of cards in other constituencies as the rollout continues.
