Ante la llegada del Fen\u00f3meno El Ni\u00f1o, la Municipalidad de Ventanilla puso en marcha trabajos de prevenci\u00f3n en el r\u00edo Chill\u00f3n, a la altura de la zona de V\u00edctor Ra\u00fal, ubicada en el l\u00edmite entre el Callao y Ventanilla. Las labores buscan reducir el riesgo de desbordes e inundaciones que podr\u00edan afectar a las viviendas e infraestructura cercana.
