The Social Security Fund (CSS) would be close to announcing the date of the second payment of the permanent bonus of $50 intended for retirees and pensioners who meet the requirements established in current legislation.
This financial support was created through the Law 438 of June 14, 2024which establishes the delivery of a permanent annual bonus of $140 to benefit this group of the population with additional income distributed throughout the year.
It is expected that in the coming days the CSS will officially report the date on which the payment corresponding to the month of August will be made, as well as the details of the schedule for the beneficiaries.
This will be the disbursement of the permanent bonus for retirees and pensioners in Panama
In accordance with the regulations, the benefit is delivered in three disbursements: a first payment of $50 made in April, a second contribution from $50 scheduled for August and a third payment of $40 which will be carried out in December, to complete the annual amount of $140.
The law also establishes that the bonus will not be granted to people who joined the retiree and pensioner payroll after the entry into force of the law. Law 438.
Consequently, only those who were already part of the payroll and meet the conditions established in the standard will be able to receive this benefit.
