Karl Kristian Kristoffersen has previously been employed by the municipality in the area of finance and has in-depth knowledge of public financial management and the municipal organisation. This provides a good basis for carrying out the task in the coming period, writes the municipality.
Before the now resigned director of finance and business, Dorthe L. Mathiesen, took office in the summer of 2023, Karl Kristian Kristoffersen was finance director in the municipality for several months.
The position must be advertised
Karl Kristian Kristoffersen’s term as acting director is expected to last until the autumn. The finance committee has decided that the position must be advertised and that the application deadline must be 1 October. The municipality then expects to fill the position.
