The Metropolitan Municipality of Lima announced a vehicle diversion plan on the occasion of the Great Military Civic Parade and Parade by National Holidayswhich will take place on next July 29 in the Brazil Avenue. The measure seeks to guarantee the safety of attendees and facilitate the development of one of the main activities of the national calendar.
As part of the grandstand installation and dismantling work, the auxiliary roads in both directions of the Brazil Avenuein the section between De La Policia and Simón Bolívar avenues, will remain partially closed until August 4.

During this period, traffic will continue along the main roads of the avenue. In addition, on July 28, the auxiliary roads will remain closed throughout the day due to the parade’s general rehearsal.

For drivers traveling from north to south, the Municipality of Lima recommends two alternative routes: first along the avenues Alfonso Ugarte, República de Venezuela, Tingo María, Plaza de la Bandera, José de San Martín, José de Sucre, Independencia oval and Jirón Bolognesi; the second by Alfonso Ugarte, Bolivia, Garcilaso de la Vega, July 28, Jorge Chávez oval, Salaverry and Army Avenue.

In the opposite direction, from south to north, vehicles will be able to circulate on Army Avenue, Salaverry, Jorge Chávez Oval, Jirón Washington and Uruguay Avenue.
