Mullah Abdul Ghafar Mahmood Bakhtar, the head of the sub-customs department of the said province, told Bakhtar News Agency that during the operations, a total of 5 tons of 105 kilograms of human medicine, which was placed in 4 cars and wanted to be transferred to Afghanistan, was seized and burned in the presence of a number of government agencies.
According to him, no one has been arrested in connection with the smuggling of these goods.
Nimroz sub-customs officials emphasized that they will strengthen their efforts to prevent smuggling and against illegal goods in order to protect people’s health and economic interests.
It is worth noting that many attempts to transport human medicines and other smuggled goods have been foiled in different areas of Nimroz recently.
