The debate of a few days ago between the analyst Lutfi Dervishi and the socialist deputy Briseida Çakërri continues to produce reactions. It all started from a question that Dervishi addressed to the MP during an interview: “How do you explain the disintegration of the euro?”, while in her answer Çakërri stated briefly: “The leku has strengthened!”.
The MP’s statement, which emphasized that she had completed her university studies in Finance, immediately went viral on social networks and prompted numerous comments.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has recently stopped for this debate, where during a meeting at noon this Friday with entrepreneurs, the head of the government criticized the analyst, without mentioning his name, but clearly referring to the rumored episode.
“I’m closing with one, that I saw him in one of these fast foods that the algorithm brings. He said with a look of competence, but a character who has no attributes to support his competence, neither a school for economics and finance, nor any training for economics and finance, not a day’s work anywhere, except in the gossip and gossip industry”, said Rama, as he continued further giving his deputy the right.
According to the prime minister, the interpretation that the euro “fell” is wrong, since according to him the phenomenon should be seen as a strengthening of the national currency.
“He used to say: “Well, why has the euro fallen?” And when I hear the most natural answer that lek has been strengthened, as if he mistakenly caught someone who made a mistake. The truth is that the euro has not fallen, but that the lek has increased. The lek is a reflection of another economy that is not the economy that existed 5 years ago,” said Rama further.
