The construction of this factory will be completed and put into use within three years by the National Development Company at a cost of about 90 million dollars.

The said factory is located in Jabal al-Saraj district of Parwan and its production capacity reaches 5,000 tons of cement in 24 hours, which can meet a large part of the country’s construction needs.

According to the reporter of Bakhtar Information Agency; At the beginning of the opening meeting of the said project, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Minister of Economy, said: “The second largest project of Jabal Al Saraj cement production is not only the foundation of a factory, but it is a big step for Afghanistan’s industrial growth, economic independence, strengthening of domestic production and the future prosperity of the country.”

He added: “The strengthening of industrial institutions has an important role in reducing unemployment and increasing exports, and job opportunities are created for thousands of citizens.”

According to Mulla Baradar, Afghanistan has vast possibilities for industrial development with its natural resources and human resources, and the Islamic Emirate is trying to change the country from an import economy to a production and export economy.

The economic deputy asked all investors to invest in different sectors in Afghanistan; Because security has been strengthened in the country, the level of corruption has decreased unprecedentedly, administrative affairs have become easier and a suitable and safe environment for investment has been created.

Later, Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative assistant of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that with the return of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, important works have been done for the development, development and self-reliance of the country in different areas, and today, with the start of the construction of the second largest cement factory in Jabal Al Saraj; An important step is being taken in the way of Afghanistan’s industrialization and providing job opportunities to thousands of young people.

According to him, the automatic system is used in the said factory, which guarantees the quality of cement according to international standards.

Also, the Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mullah Hidayatullah Badri, said in his speech that the second largest factory of Jabal al-Saraj cement production not only in creating job opportunities, but also in the field of cement production, helps to bring Afghanistan to self-sufficiency.

According to Badri, currently, in the field of cement production, agreements have been signed with nine companies whose operations are progressing at different levels, and with the activation of these factories, employment will be provided to around 10 thousand people.

At the same time, the Minister of Water and Energy, Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada, said that efforts are being made by various institutions of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for the development, development and self-determination of the country and to bring Afghanistan to self-determination; At that time, it is possible that all projects will be implemented and (government, private sector and citizens) will join hands and make joint efforts.

In continuation of the meeting, Maulavi Ahmed Jan Bilal, General Manager of Emirati Companies, called the start of this project as an important day for the industrial revolution of Afghanistan and said that with the start of the construction of the second largest cement factory in Jabal Al Saraj, another step will be taken on the road to self-sufficiency, and by taking advantage of it, the import of cement from abroad will be reduced and employment will be provided to many people.

He insisted on the completion of the said project on time and with good quality.

The governor of Parwan, Sheikh Azizur Rahman Mansour, also said that today, due to the provision of complete security in Afghanistan, good investment opportunities have been provided in various fields, and the start of the construction of the second largest cement factory in Jabal Al Saraj has a special message for investors, and that is that Parwan province has good investment potential.

He assured that the regional administration is ready for full cooperation for any kind of investment in Parwan.

It should not be forgotten that in the second largest cement production plant of Jabal Al Saraj, all stages of clinker production and cement packaging will be done inside the country, which reduces the cost of production and frees Afghanistan from the need for foreign imports. Environmental standards are also considered in the design of the factory; To prevent air pollution during production.
