This Saturday evening, the 35th protest of the so-called “Flamingo Revolution” is taking place in the capital, which this time has been joined by dozens of Albanians from the diaspora.
This Saturday’s protest also coincided with the 62nd birthday of Prime Minister Edi Rama, bringing several cakes with different inscriptions.
Meanwhile, one of the moments that attracted the most attention during the protest was the appearance of a coffin on “Dëşmorët e Kombit” Boulevard.
The coffin held by some protesters also had a photo of Prime Minister Edi Rama on it.
As the casket appeared in the crowd, protesters began chanting in chorus: “Rama’s coffin, Rama’s coffin”.
At the same time, while one of the speakers was speaking from the podium, she tried to cover the sound of cheers by shouting: “Arrest Rama”.
