Weather conditions in the Kingdom of Cambodia for June 30 to July 2, 2026.
The low pressure covering the Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea, South China Sea, Mekong River Basin and Cambodian Sea has affected the southwest monsoon regime blowing over the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This situation will cause the weather from June 30 to July 2, 2026:
1- Plains:
– Average minimum temperature of 25°C and average maximum temperature of 36°C. Winds from the southwest and northwest with an average speed of 3 m/s. The provinces of Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Siem Reap, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Takeo, Kandal and Phnom Penh may experience rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms covering 50% of the land area.
2- Plateau:
– Average minimum temperature 24°C and average maximum temperature 35°C. Winds from the southwest and west with an average speed of 3 meters per second. Kampong Speu, Pailin, Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Dangrek Mountain Range and Cardamom Mountain Range may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 40% of the area.
3- Coastal areas:
– Average minimum temperature 25°C and average maximum temperature 35°C. Winds from the southwest and southeast with an average speed of 2 meters per second. Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Kep and Bokor Mountain Range may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 50% of the area.
– Sea waves have an average minimum height of 0.50 meters and an average maximum height of 1.50 meters.
