The Supreme Administrative Court dismissed cassation complaints filed by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister against rulings of the Voivodeship Administrative Court, which had overturned the revocation of the security clearance of the current head of the National Security Bureau, Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz. “In this case, one thing must be stated immediately: this was Donald Tusk’s personal decision, his revenge. This decision has been thrown into the trash by the Supreme Administrative Court”, commented on X the program director of TV Republika, Michał Rachoń.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Administrative Court dismissed cassation complaints filed by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister against rulings of the Voivodeship Administrative Court, which had overturned the revocation of the security clearance of the current head of the National Security Bureau, Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz. The court strongly criticized the political actions of Tomasz Siemoniak and Donald Tusk, confirming that Prof. Cenckiewicz has access to classified information. This marks the conclusion of what is described as a false narrative campaign conducted by the ruling camp since the swearing-in of Karol Nawrocki as President of Poland.
The ruling coalition does not want to accept the defeat. Despite the clear ruling of the Supreme Administrative Court, Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesperson for the minister-coordinator of special services, appears to remain defiant. In a video published online, he stated that “the rulings of the Supreme Administrative Court dismissing the cassation complaints ultimately close the administrative court stage of the proceedings concerning the revocation of Sławomir Cenckiewicz’s security clearance granting access to classified information”, but added that “this does not mean, however, that Sławomir Cenckiewicz has automatically regained access to classified information”.
Rachoń: “Another proof of unlawful actions”
The program director of TV Republika, Michał Rachoń, also commented on the matter.
“Sławomir Cenckiewicz’s victory in court. We are showing this right now on TV Republika. Another piece of evidence of unlawful actions. In this case, one thing must be stated immediately: this was Donald Tusk’s personal decision, his revenge. This decision has been thrown into the trash by the Supreme Administrative Court”, he said in a recording published on social media.
As he pointed out: “Donald Tusk unlawfully, for many months, maintained a situation in which the head of the National Security Bureau was allegedly supposed not to have a security clearance. This is unlawful, scandalous conduct, for which Donald Tusk, Tomasz Siemoniak, and the heads of the special services are responsible”.
“A massive scandal and a continuation of attacks on President Nawrocki. In reality, maintaining this fiction of unlawfully depriving Sławomir Cenckiewicz of access to classified information is evidence of an attempt to deprive the President of the Republic of Poland of access to key information”, Rachoń concluded.
