With the readjustment of 5% of the minimum wage that has been in force since July 2026, these are the new amounts of daily and hourly wages for daytime, nighttime, and part-time workers in Paraguay.
He Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MTESS) made official the new amounts of the minimum wage behind him 5% readjustmenteffective from the next July 1in accordance with Decree No. 6225/26.
The update impacts monthly, daily and hourly salary values, for both daytime and nighttime workers, in addition to part-time employment.
For daytime work, the minimum monthly wage is set at G. 3,044,000.
Under this modality:
- Daily salary (day): G. 117,077
- Daily salary for monthly payments: G. 101,467
- Hourly salary: G. 12,683.

Night work: 30% surcharge increases income
Night work keeps the legal surcharge of 30%which significantly increases salary amounts.
With the current update:
- Nightly monthly salary: G. 3,957,200
- Daily salary (day): G. 152,200
- Daily salary for monthly payments: G. 131,907
- Hourly salary: G. 18,844.
Part-time employment: how much is paid per hour
For short-time or part-time workers, the readjustment also establishes new hourly values:
- Daytime: G. 14.634
- Night time: G. 21.743
These amounts apply to contracts with hours less than full time, under current labor regulations.

The MTESS recalled that workers can report non-payment of the new minimum wage since July.
